Every Lantern festival begins with a beautiful display of lanterns. Have your children make their own colourful Chinese lantern as home decor, or let them carry it out to the streets for good festive fun and cheer. Gather your friends for a lantern making session after which you can line all your beautiful lantern creations up, set against the backdrop of the full moon - this is definitely going to make be an Instagram worthy picture!
$290 for 15 pax - 60 mins | $18 per additional person
Does the workshop cover making the lantern from scratch?
No, our workshop is designed to be as child-friendly as possible so the workshop only covers the aesthetic aspects of the lantern. Your child would be taught how to design and beautify a plain lantern and at the end of the day come up with the most beautiful lantern design. This activity is suitable for adults too.
Is there a workshop where we can build our own lanterns?
Yes, we do offer lantern making - using ‘angpow’ paper. This is suitable for kids above 12 years of age, as well as adults - because we use staples widely for this activity. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to customize the activity you require.
What is the recommended age for this activity?
We would recommend it to anyone aged 4 and up.
How long does each session take?
Each session takes around 60 mins.
Do I need to prepare any logistics for the workshop?
We’ll require tables for this activity (chairs are optional but a plus). For your convenience we come ready with table covers to protect your tables.
